Are you feeling overwhelmed, uninformed, and lost? It is time to add an education advocate to your team. It is YOUR right!
Supporting and representing parents of children with disabilities in educational and other related settings. We will help parents understand their rights and responsibilities, navigate the special education system, and advocate for children's needs and best interests.
Providing information, support, and guidance to families while helping parents to understand educational laws and policies to ensure their children get the best education.
Our parent advocacy approach will empower and support parents as they advocate for their children's needs and rights in educational and related settings.
Our students are identified or slated to be tested to determine if a disability is present. Special education refers to the educational services and support provided to children with disabilities to have equal access to education and reach their full potential.
This may include individualized education plans (IEPs), 504 Plans, accommodations, and modifications to the regular curriculum. We focus on your concerns, such as:
You need a destination before you can figure out where you're heading. Together, we will construct a plan of action, develop a vision for your child's future, and enlist others to help us realize that vision. One of the most frequent reasons parents employ an educational advocate is to attend school meetings. Each meeting will be supported by planning, attendance, and follow-up services.
A mountain of paperwork is unavoidably involved when raising a child with special needs. Your advocate will assist you in making sense of it all, highlighting crucial details, and developing a system to keep it all organized. If goals are not being adequately tracked, what use are they? Any IEP's success depends on regular progress reviews, and we will keep track of that throughout the academic year.
The special education process can go by infuriatingly slowly. Your advocate can demystify options outside of public schooling for parents considering them so you may make an informed choice. Be ready when you go into an IEP meeting. Know your options.

The civil rights of children with special needs, their right to due process, and their right to equal access to public education are all protected by a special education advocate. They operate within the confines of these regulations and are knowledgeable and skilled in special education and relevant federal and state laws. They must stay updated on special education topics and applicable laws through ongoing education and training.
